Ack, I have a stye in my eye! My whole eyelid is now swollen (day two) and I look really weird! Does anyone have any ideas on how to make this GO AWAY and soon? It's doesn't itch, but it hurts - really tender to the touch - and of course there's a little pimply-looking head to it. Do the OTC medicines help at all? So far I've just been using a heated rice sock to apply moist heat, but I don't know if it's helping or not. Part of the problem, of course, is that I can't keep the bloody rice sock on my eye for too long because (a) it's uncomfortable and (b) I can't wear my glasses with it laid over my face, so I can't SEE or DO ANYTHING and ARGH. So annoying!
Advice? Anyone know of a sure-fire cure, other than waiting it out? |
