(I will never not use that phrase SOMEWHERE in a "getting home" entry. Sorry, folks, this is as good as it gets.)
Home again, home again, trippety-trot. Had a nice visit with the folks, celebrated Pi!Dad's birthday (and mine, coincidentally, though his was more exciting, his new age ending with a zero and all), saw relatives and friends, etc. Emphatically did not get much time online at ALL, and although I responded to a few happy birthday wishes, I suspect I've missed a few more - I'll try to scroll back to where I was, but I suspect skip=300 or something absurd like that, since I haven't been able to really read since Thursday night, and even that was iffy.
I missed the season finale of SGA, but came home to my beloved and trusty Tivo version, which I just watched. ( Not very spoilery spoilers back here. Well, okay, one spoilery spoiler. Sort of. )
Okay, I guess that's about it. After driving 10 hours, my brain doesn't have much coherence. Sorry about that! Now I'm going to start that backward scrolling through my flist, and also pet Zed the kitty, who is frantic for reassurance. Oooh, and check my del.icio.us, where I hope people have been saving all the best episode-tag and future-season-plotting fics for me. *hopeful* |
