...which I've been meaning to post. And thank you to msilverstar for sharing the secret of creating shorter RSS feed tags - this seems like a good chance to see if I set that up the right way. :-)
Okay, the icons.

Annnnnd, that's all I got. Happy Martin Luther King, Jr, Day, y'all. Speaking of which:
PGC called me this morning. He has a regrettable penchant for lame jokes, and the beginning of the conversation went:
PGC: I was going to sleep in today, but I woke up early.
Me: [paying very little attention] Mmm. That's nice. Dammit. [I was playing Bejeweled]
PGC: I woke up early because I had a dream.
Me: Oh? What was it about? [still not paying attention]
PGC: Get it? "I had a dream."
Me: [pause] You know, if you have to say "Get it?" after a joke, you just shouldn't even make the joke.
PGC: [laughs hysterically]
I've pretty much decided he's gay, by the way. I think now the PGC stands for "Probably Gay Coworker."
Anyway, the joke was lame, but I did appreciate that he had thought about calling J, our other coworker, solely for the purpose of waking her up on a holiday before noon. (He decided that he valued his life too highly to do that, and called me instead, since he knows I'm an early riser.) Later in the day, I talked to J and told her about PGC's self-foiled plan to wake her. "Oooh," she said, "I'm going to call him and tell him how I couldn't sleep in because I had a dream." This was agreed upon, and I'm sure I'll hear about it tomorrow.
(And in case you're wondering, yes, my coworkers and I do call each other all weekend. My excuse is that I'm new in town and don't know anyone else; I don't know what their excuses are. But I do love having a little social group. *smile* And they're all fabulous, in their different ways. I love 'em.) |

That's a terrible awful horrible pun, and I'm never telling my family or they'd use it EVERY YEAR.

Pi, I am so sad I had to work Friday and could not watch SGA with you, because now I have been saving your tag and a couple others and been vaguely spoiled by del.icio.us and I don't have the strength.

I gotta ask about the And thank you to msilverstar for sharing the secret of creating shorter RSS feed tags. Does that mean you know how to lj cut so that it's still a working lj-cut on the feed?
I have no idea how to figure out how to keep the cut on my feed over at LJ, every pic I post behind a cut on IJ displays without a cut in the feed posts on LJ.
