The only time I find it believable is in BDSM fic, otherwise...yeah. The fics where the guys have hours of foreplay just make me laugh.

I tend to see that sort of thing mainly in old-school fics, though, so it's always accompanied by much sap and declarations of love and gazing into each other's eyes (or souls!), so it's not so much with the fun or hot. XD
