I agree. Although I admit I'm willing to suspend disbelief if the fic is fun or hot enough. *g*

I tend to see that sort of thing mainly in old-school fics, though, so it's always accompanied by much sap and declarations of love and gazing into each other's eyes (or souls!), so it's not so much with the fun or hot. XD
